Is my computer good for DAY Z?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys i bought Arma 2 Combined Operations today. I installed DAY Z and when i start playing DAY Z i get 200% lag on the game. I cant even chose my character. Can i fix this problem changing my DAY Z version 1.7.4 to other or the problem is my laptop?

My computer settings are:

Windows Vista

Processor: Intel® Pentium® Dual CPU T2390 @1.86GHz 1.87GHz

RAM: 2,00 GB

System: 32 bits

Can you tell me your opinion of my computer please and if i can run DAY Z without lag :D

There is no way, shape or form that you will get DayZ working on that laptop, even with the best upgrades for your platform.

The hardware is just too outdated.

So the solution is buying new computer with like 2.5GHz min?

The GHz is not always the issue, personally I run at 2Ghz, NviDia GeForce GTX 560M, Intel i7 Quad core processor and I run on the highest detail with 40fps.
