Arma 2 OA Texture Lag Issue (Need Help)

Recommended Posts

I have recently installed Arma 2 CO and now i have installed Day Z using the launcher. Everything has run smoothly but when i launch Day Z and join a server i get a tremendous amount of lag and see what appears to be blue dots, everywhere. I have looked for a fix but have not found one and if there is one already please just link me to where i can find it. I would greatly appreciate any and all help. I have updated my drivers recently and cant figure out the problem. I will try re-installing and see if that works.

EDIT:

I have fixed the problem but there is still major lag and any links to forums that will fix this would be great.

My Specs:

Intel Core i5-2430M [email protected]

Ram 8 GB

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit

HP Pavilion Dv6

I would try updating my video drivers first.

I have done that recently for another game...

How did you fix it? I just started having the same problem running Arma2 on my laptop, which used to run both Arma2 and Dayz on lowest settings, just fine. Now it's Blue Dots everywhere and like 1 frame every 10 seconds or so. I've installed drivers for both my video card and processor, and reinstalled the game but no luck.
