So, ok i just got the game yesterday on the Black Friday sale for steam and got the arma 2 combined ops, thinking that i would be able to play because i do think i have a decent PC.so i bought it. then i tried it doing everything not to lag and still seeing the very bright background that i think is generating the most lag is there a way i can mod the sky to actually look like a sky.

Im afraid thats a pretty dated system you have there,

you might be able to get away with using that cpu, especially if you overclock it, but theres always a risk with overclocking if you dont know what you're doing.

But the main problem is the graphics you have is an onboard chip built into your motherboard thats not intended for gaming at all.

You will need buy a separate graphics card to play Dayz.
