JrMiScHiEf 0 Posted June 16, 2012 ok i am trying to get dayZ but it isnt working for me. I only have the free version of ArmA II and ArmA II OA. I keep trying to download the updater but for some reason it keeps coming up in a windows mead player window, and i dont know how to fix it. Just copy the "addons" folder from Arma II Free into Operation Arrowhead's folder. Run OA as Combined Ops.OT: There could be any number of reasons why the updater isn't working for you. Screenshots of the problem would be helpful.Anyway, you could always do a manual installation, which would likely be easier than fixing the problem with the updater. Just make sure when you're copying the files from Arma II Free into OA, don't overwrite anything, merge. I made that mistake and even though the game worked fine, I had a lot of UI issues and color differences. I'm now reinstalling to fix that. =[ Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
