striker75 3 Posted June 16, 2012 So, I'll admit, I only bought ArmaII for this mod. Haven't played the real game apart from the basic training. Anyway, my friend and I were playing and doing very well. Found a ton of nice goodies and both had Winchesters. We started getting a little more... courageous I guess. anyway after fighting off a whole lot of zombies. one last one comes up and smacks me one more time and I die. I still had 5000+ blood and was under the impression blood was kinda the equivelent of HP. I thought the worst that would happen would be I pass out. I wasn't still bleeding or anything. That last hit just killed me. Is this the point of Blood where the 'death' usually happen? It's not too big a deal, I'm enjoying starting over, though I do miss my Flashlight :( lol. U.B.C.S. Ravin 326 Posted June 16, 2012 Zombies are subject to one hit knockouts below 9000 HP and may have resulted in your death.12000 - Max Blood < 9000 - Sussceptible to "one shot Knock out" from zombies < 8000 - Colour and sound begin to fade < 5000 - May fall Unconscious < 4000 - Black and white screen, loss of much hearing capability 0 - Player Dead
amentes 0 Posted June 16, 2012 I've personally never been killed without also going into negative blood count.By that reasoning, it sounds like a bug to me.
striker75 3 Posted June 16, 2012 Thanks for the clarification! That helps a lot. I'll have to start being a lot more cautious now.
U.B.C.S. Ravin 326 Posted June 16, 2012 Best thing to do when overwhelmed by a lot of zombies is crouch run away to the nearest open house with one entrance, sit in the back and aim for those heads. Or if you have the M1911 at close range its one shot kill to Zeds in the chest. M1911 ammo is fairly common also and I use it when not using the M9 silenced.I used a silenced MP5 so I almost never attracted any attention when going into heavy Zed areas. 2slow4you 0 Posted June 16, 2012 On a somewhat related note, is the only way to regen blood levels to use a blood pack? or do they slowly return to normal?
Ulven 0 Posted June 16, 2012 Blood packs give you a full 12000 health back, canned foods give you 200 and cooked food from slain animals give you 800.Different animals yield a different amount of meat. Chickens and rabbits give you one or two pieces of meat and cows give eight. You'll need a hunting knife to get the meat from the carcass though, and you'll need wood and matches to light a fire to cook the meat.
