Looking for a sponsor.

Hey guys, just thought I would ask.

Is anyone willing to run my DayZ server for free, or help pay for my current one.

What you will get for sponsoring;

1- Advertisements on the clans website

2- Whitelisted (you and your mates)

3- Donations.

What I need;

A DayZ server with full access.

Or

$30 a month for server bills.

This server is a private hive and will be hacker free (hence the whitelist).

I am not a scrub 12 year old that doesn't know what he is doing, I am a programmer and have run servers before and have a dedicated box but it is in CentOS, hence my inability to run it myself.

I would build a server and put it in a datacentre, but the $500 a month isn't too inviting.

I skimmed through this as I knew I couldn't help, BUT I didn't care that you said "scrub" 12 year old. Are you some trick shotter from Call of Duty?

EDIT: Also if you want there's a DayZ Community called Balota Buddies they already have high populated password protected/whitelisted private hives. I mean it could be your clans main server or you could try and work with them for Anti-Cheats and such.

You would have lot better luck offering your knowledge and service to a community with one or more servers.

Or do a few things (mod, map, admin tools, etc.) then you would have lot easier time to ask for a sponser.

But hey, maybe someone is generous enuff to fall for this.

Don't ask to mooch off of others. A dedicated machine doesn't cost 500 dollars unless you want to run 5 or 10 ArmA2OA servers. Save up and setup donations then buy a server from a GSP build a community and you will be going smooth. They're not expensive so please don't go around the forums asking for cash it just gives you a bad reputation.

And on that note. Who the hell goes around on teh interwebz asking for cash? Especially on a forum, you also do seem like an idiot 10 year old with no idea considering the way you asked.

call of duty campaign is so short like two days or 6 hours to finish it but if you compare cod with bf3 , bf3 is the best campaign and muiltplayer you get to fly jets in multilplayer insane :) :) :) :) :thumbsup:

Plus, aussie hosting is that expensive for a dedicated box, or even colocation.
