luxifergrim (DayZ) 19 Posted November 19, 2012 (edited) We would like to invite everyone to check out our server. We offer a password protected server, we have full Day/Night Cycles, all of the Bliss extras, 70 vehicles, Multiple Helis, Active admins who are not assholes and do not meta. We are looking for players who are tired of KOS and hackers, as we try to integrate various social aspects into our server such as Settlements and Server functions ( multi-heli battles). If you like to scavenge and do some balanced PVP, then you will have a lot of fun on our server. Lone wolf types are welcome as well as medium sized clans! We have a small but active community over at www.gsc-clan.org and we welcome you all to visit!Edit- To give this thread a little bump and update, We have enacted a server-wide non-aggression treaty for clan settlements! There are still ways to attack and take these settlements of course... Edited December 11, 2012 by luxifergrim

luxifergrim (DayZ) 19 Posted November 19, 2012 Basically, we plan to have small towns that we agree not to loot to mitigate the problem of 24-7 gamers grabbing your stuff when you are not in game. Eventually, we plan to expand this to allowing teams to build small improvements, such as H barriers, trash barriers, and other improvised structures by way of a hedgehog economy. What this means is that we will inject a certain building after players have gathered and assembled a certain number of hedgehogs at the desired location. luxifergrim (DayZ) 19 Posted November 19, 2012 For those not familiar with the bliss hive, at one point this was as easy as changing the object id in the database...Since the database has been restructured, that method doesn't work anymore afaik, and they are working on a more user-friendly way of doing it. luxifergrim (DayZ) 19 Posted December 11, 2012 Since that last posting, we have indeed figured out how to inject buildings into the Database, What this means is that using an in-game economy, we can allow clans to build their own bases!
