Start Dayz and get a BSOD

Recommended Posts

Hey all, Last night I was playing DayZ with a friend and I started artifacting quite badly. Then the screen went to black and showed my desktop but sound and controls were still in game. So i Alt-F4'd and tried again. This time I only made it as far as the "team choice" screen where I also saw more artifacting, then i BSOD'd with this error.

So far I have reinstalled the drivers after using driver sweeper. My GPU temps seem to be with in normal parameters unless this GPU is overheating with in 10-15 seconds of the game booting up. My only thought are that my GPU is on it's last legs and will run my system with out playing games right now.

CPU AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+

GPU Nvidia Geforce 8800GT

Mem 4GB DDR2
