Every Server is Same Timezone

What do you guys think of every server being in the same timezone? Maybe set it off of the master server's timezone and every other server follows? This could even out the servers and would make DayZ a lot more interesting since people can't just server hop to day servers when it becomes night.

Of course, the night right now is a little too dark, and it needs work.

Your input? Legitimately think about this. I would prefer a long thought out discussion.

Probably not because then those that can only play during evening hours will be stuck mostly playing at night.

Since night time is now near impossible to play it will cause players to flood daylight servers or not play at all unless you have nvgs.

And what "master timezone" would this be? Having one timezone is a massive fuck you to the players playing on the opposite side of the world or even half way across.

There isn't anything wrong with multiple timezones. Nothing major anyway.

No way. There has to be choice. The main thing needed is for all servers to indicate their time zone in their title.

My thoughts exactly. It would be nice if people were forced to play during the night. It would bring about a new way to play DayZ. I would imagine that chemlights and flares would become a valued item if this were implemented.

Each server holding player location data not the master server.

This would fix server hopping, ghosting, loot farming via server hopping and alot of the griefing in the game.

No, because no one want to give back this power to server admins, eing tied to a central database means that every server is kept in check by the DayZ team.

Could be funny to have a fixed timezone, something like hm pacific ocean time, so it's the timezone of no one :D

Nothing wrong with giving admins more power to run their server how they want.

Sure admin abuse could be a problem but then again just frequent a server you like.

If it was set on the local clock for each computer..that just wouldn't make any sense. Half the people of each server would be running day and half night.

Not to mention you can just adjust your system time whenever and then reconnect and it'd be morning.

I like the idea of setting it to a timezone that affects no one in a positive/negative way.

Not a massive fan of this suggestion. What about people who work? Not everybody has the chance to play during the day. Just leave it as it is, it's not exactly harming anybody.
