Can't join any server/No error message

The error I'm having is very similar to :

"When I join the server I get kicked back to the lobby without any error messages."

The fact is that I did update my BattleEye thingy (not from steam, obviously, because it gives me an error called "NO STRINGS" or something like that). But I still have manually dropped the updated version of BattleEye in the right directory and tried to start it. I am not launching using steam and I've tried pretty much everything I could, except re-installing the game. Because steam is so smart that I would have to redownload the whole game. And I don't want to redownload 14 Go, if you don't mind.

I have a 8 core, 64-bit computer. Using Windows 7 and have everything so far up to date. I tried to turn of my AV just in case, but it's not that.

I use DayZ Commander, please help :< .

[EDIT1] I finally got steam to reinstall Battleye, still doesn't change anything.

The only thing I can think of is reinstalling Arma2 then reinstall a clean download of BattleEye from http://www.battleye.com/download.html

I found the solution, tough it is very strange. My Arma and DayZ "un-updated" themselves, or I don't know what. I don't know how it happened, but all I can tell is to look at the update status if it happens to you.

It is working fine now, cool beans.
