Direct Communication Volume?

I've been using the latest beta patches for a while now and I'm glad direct communication is working, but I still find myself using Vent to speak to my friends more often than not. Not because it allows us to speak without others hearing us, but because direct communication is usually too quiet to hear. It's a bit on the quiet side when we are standing next to each other without any interfering noise of movement or gunfire. Add in any other noises and it just gets drowned out.

I've maxed the sound in-game options and have music shut off. Any other suggestions?

Get all together, in-game (you and your friends) and then log off and back on the game (just get into lobby and back in).

This might probably fix your problem. Red this in another thread btw, originally written by some forums admin here (so kudos go to him)
