jaytmuk (DayZ) 621 Posted November 16, 2012 (edited) I find seeing numerous zombies with the same skin in the same place (example - mythbusters guy) breaks the immersion of Dayz.Thinks its the clothes and hats that do it lolMaybe this type of Zombie look would help? :PCos then you would only need slight differences in them to make them not all look the same.Take away the hair and clothes (leave pants on lol)Maybe its a uniform thing cos the Military zombies seem ok, Because we expect them all to have same uniform on.But civilians we dont, so they break the immersion :P Edited November 16, 2012 by jaytmuk
Nimz41 105 Posted November 16, 2012 (edited) Well their faces will just look the same, Im sure what the zombies look like isn't on the top of the list of important things[Gift/Survey scam Removed -SmashT] Edited November 16, 2012 by smasht_AU

decoman 45 Posted November 16, 2012 I think 20 different zombie models would help alot.
leettari (DayZ) 133 Posted November 16, 2012 I genuinely don't care what zombies look like, I'm killing them from miles away anyway when clearing a town for my squad to raid.Besides, it's not the main concern but agreed, they could add new models eventually.Key word, eventually. timboski 618 Posted November 16, 2012 I kinda agree. Military ones ok will have the same or similar uniforms when in large numbers but some of them could do with a randomiser so they may have different trousers/tops/hats etc. I think it would be fun to have one with jeans, a suit jacket and beret (they are zombies, they don't care if their outfit doesn't match). If they are not getting new models yet (In the following standalone alpha), they will be getting them sometime after the alpha, if my predictions are right. HardCoreNinja7 24 Posted November 17, 2012 I was thinking if the people were killed by a pack of zombie shouldn't some of them be missing an arm or there clothes are tattered and torn? I think that's what they should do with some of the zombie models. Just make them look more scary :D

(I can't remember if they actually did it or not)This could work well to disguise the Zombie clones, but I don't think it's going to be absolutely necessary any time soon.Black Mesa source (Half Life remake) has a Face Creation System. So it's not like any sci-fi technology is required, just a lot of time and effort.
