Geoffrey (DayZ) 3 Posted November 13, 2012 Hey guys, this is just me asking for a helping hand installing lingor...I've got everything up to date, installed it all with dayzcommanderas fellow dayzcommander users can see, everything is up to date; DayZ is at 1.7.3 and the current beta patch is up to date (98866 at the moment)then it just comes up with this....Any pointers?Cheers in advance :)
Rage VG 4033 Posted November 13, 2012 (edited) According to that, you are running DayZ 1.7.3 (As you have stated), however the server is running 1.1.1. I'm new to DZC so perhaps I'm wrong, but maybe look for a server that isn't 1.1.1?EDIT : As an example, here is a server that is running 1.7.3, and I am capable of joining it, and then this server is running 1.1.1, which I would be unable to join. Michaelvoodoo25 3120 Posted November 13, 2012 Join a server with the same details, remember when installing and updating with DC you restart it! I always make sure all updates are done not just Lingor.
Geoffrey (DayZ) 3 Posted November 13, 2012 but the DayZ mod is 1.7.3 and the Lingor island mod is 1.1.1.....does that mean I need to downgrade my DayZ???
lappihuan 26 Posted November 13, 2012 How about joining a Server with 1.7.3?You joined a Server with 1.1.1 xD
Rage VG 4033 Posted November 13, 2012 but the DayZ mod is 1.7.3 and the Lingor island mod is 1.1.1.....does that mean I need to downgrade my DayZ???Ah, well I was unaware you were referring to the Lingor mod... I suggest "repair" on the Lingor updater, see if that does anything. I know my friend had a few issues with 1.1.1 himself.
Geoffrey (DayZ) 3 Posted November 13, 2012 but my friends did the exact installation procedure as me, they have 1.7.3 installed and put the server to a 1.1.1 lingor.....they can join it...

Otherwise, I'm stumped, sorry.

Mos1ey 6301 Posted November 13, 2012 You're running the DayZ mod and not the Lingor mod.
Zetax 0 Posted November 13, 2012 Right click on Arma 2: OA on steam > properties > set launch options. Make sure that's empty.I had the same issue. (i believe earlier versions of the mod required special launch options.)
