Hive Errors on Connection

Recommended Posts

My public server has been ticking along just fine until I tried to log in this morning.

I recieved the "server is running an incorrect version of the server side application" message. I found that no one else could log into the server either.

I re-installed the server mod in case it was corrupted, but still no luck. I took a look at my .RPT file and noticed that the hive is generating errors when my server connects ...

18:45:00 "HIVE: Starting"

18:45:00 "HIVE: Request sent"

18:45:01 Error in expression < compile format ["%1",_data];

_status = _result select 0;

_myArray = [];

if (_s>

18:45:01 Error position: <_result select 0;

_myArray = [];

if (_s>

18:45:01 Error Undefined variable in expression: _result

18:45:01 File z\addons\dayz_server\system\server_monitor.sqf, line 24

18:45:01 "READ/WRITE: "

18:45:01 Error in expression <ay = call compile format ["%1;",_data];

_resultArray;

};

spawn_heliCrash = {

pr>

18:45:01 Error position: <_resultArray;

};

spawn_heliCrash = {

pr>

18:45:01 Error Undefined variable in expression: _resultarray

18:45:01 File z\addons\dayz_server\init\server_functions.sqf, line 70

18:45:01 Error in expression <] call server_hiveReadWrite;

_outcome = _result select 0;

if(_outcome == "PASS")>

18:45:01 Error position: <_result select 0;

if(_outcome == "PASS")>

18:45:01 Error Undefined variable in expression: _result

I haven't seen this before. Any ideas how to correct the problem?

Thanks for the advice.

I have tried updating to 1.7.3, but I still get the same errors from the hive and no one can connect.

My server providers manually re-installed the DayZ files and they tell me that everything is fine on thier end and that it is a problem with the hive ... which they can't help with.

Sigh :)

Possibly open a support ticket up on www.support.dayz.com?

Looks like your best option at the moment. Maybe browse a little deeper on the forums. Not just here, but elsewhere. I'm sure there's a simple solution :)
