Help with dayz

Hey guys im getting a new computer because the one im using right now is really bad it plays dayz 10-15 fps everything lowest windowed lowest resolution and i just found this computer. it has 8 gb kingston hyper x. Amd Phenom II x4 965. and a 550 ti 1 gb. with a decent mother board. 650w PSU and 500gb hdd. i read about the parts they can run any game such as bf3, crysis 2 and others at ultra settings while getting playable fps. my question is will this run dayz good? or fine at high or ultra settings? thanks for you time :D

You should be fine, however, Arma has always been a game that needs a lot of resources, especially CPU speed and Big graphics card.

I have a little bitbetter computer than that, infact i used to actaully have that processor, i think it will work great and good luck in your pc gaming career.

DayZ/ArmA is poorly optimized, so if you want to buy a new rig just for DayZ, might aswell just wait for the standalone, it should be optimized better.

"and I found this computer". Busy night thief'n? ;P That 8gig is one stick, two, fours sticks? If one, buy a matching one.

You will get decent frame-rates in most, if-not all, games. Perhaps a SSD storage (SSD that you install your windows/OS to...makes EVERYTHING faster!)
