Steam doesn't recognise update

whenever i update arma 2 manually to the latest patch, steam doesn't recognise that iv'e done it and stays at 95417 which prevents me from joining servers.

anyone know what this is caused by or how to fix it?

Google the launch parameters for DayZ on steam.

Or just use Six Updater/DayZ Commander. It'll solve your problems.
