{s8g}rub!c0n 1 Posted November 11, 2012 Hi guys, Id like to see alot more traffic in my server i pay for. Me and 2 or 3 others play there alot. Id like to get alot more people playing there regularly. I just dont know how to get more players in the server. Sometimes there gets 10 to 12 people but mostly 3-6 people on there. Its an official server its a 40 slot server and its on veteran with night time as well.Just hoping some would see it and help fill it up. [email protected] 98 Posted November 11, 2012 Unless your server has something particularly special about it, I can't see much traffic heading towards your server. Honestly, how many empty servers do you see out there? And look at the difference between a high pop and low pop server, then try to add certain aspects to your server which people would like to see.As an example, I regularly play on Au Deathmatch servers. You spawn with a random kit (at least two primary firearms and a secondary, map, food, GPS, basic tools etc.) and it's basically a massive fight to the death :) Obviously this is on a private hive, however you can still an idea of what grabs peoples attention and makes them want to continue playing on your server. [email protected] 98 Posted November 12, 2012 Things (most) people like:- More vehicles.- Better starting gear/possibly even a Deathmatch server.- NOT Chernarus (You could mix it up a little with Namalsk & Panthera.- Active admins/moderators to keep hacking under control- Friendly admin support, maybe even some sort of website where people can post claims for people hacking, sending support messages etc.- Well set up server (Advertised restarts, up to date etc.)A well organised programmer and someone who is efficient with SQL can make this process much easier and much better.Honestly, the more admins the better.
