Lag on Chernarus, but no other map?

Hello dur.

So today I decided to test out a new map, because Cherno was getting kinda boring to me. I downloaded Namalsk, and almost pooped my pants at the FPS. Like, I'm almost positive I was getting 40-50 FPS. No choppiness, no framerate problems, nothing.

So I was wondering what the problem is? I mean it doesn't make sense to me for one map to give me 20 fps on a good day, to just now downloading a new map and it being perfect.

SO, does anyone have any idea what my problem might be? Because this tells me that it isn't my computer that is the problem, its something else.

chernarus is huge chunk of land, namalsk is 2 tiny islands

Chernarus is a big map, filled with lots and lots of objects. A LOT of trees and grass for example.

It's the same for me: Chernarus ~30-50 FPS

Namalsk ~50-70 FPS

(I get much better FPS on every map, besides Chernarus. Not only Namalsk).

It can be the map which lags. Nothing wrong with your computer, most likely.
