Gear saving on other maps

On maps like namalsk etc, is the gear saved between the servers (on the same map) or is every server different ?

it depends. some are completely private. some are part of smaller hives, like "vilayer" or "DayZ.st"

it should tell you in the server description. if it's completely private, your gear will only save there. if it's part of one of the smaller hives, your gear will save on all servers that are part of that hive

Thanks, since namalsk is supported by dayz, does that mean that gear will save if your playing an official server? (between all official servers for namalsk) ??

there are no "official" servers for Namalsk. the only map with official hive servers is Chernarus

like I said, check the server description. if it says "vilayer", then you gear will be saved on all servers that also say "vilayer". if it just says "private hive", then your gear will only save there

On dayz commander if i type .st i should come up with all the private hives for DayZ.st I guess, and if i play on them i'll be fine? or vilayer etc.

I think vilayer is mostly american servers from what i looked though.
