Harvesting wood in panthera.

So I recently started playing Panthera because I was bored of chernaurus and namalsk. I started off pretty well, spawned in the south desert and found plenty of equipment. Although in the process I was hit by an axe once and shot by an M4 of some type leaving me with very low blood. I had an axe and some matches so I bolted north for the safety of the forests. My only problem is I can't harvest wood anywhere. I've tried countless trees and each attempt is met by that rage inducing message "you must in a a forest and near a tree to harvest wood". I don't know if this issue is server side or it's a problem with the map or the current panthera patch but I'd like to find a solution as soon as possible.

get too the point where your footseps sound like there walking on leaves then your in a "forest"

also if you find a map you should be able to see where you can really harvest wood, not where there are only green circles which are trees, but where the map is green..
