"Bad Version, Server Rejected Connection"

Hi, I recently bought Arma 2 to play this DayZ mod but every server I join keeps saying "Bad Version, Server Rejected Connection".

I've done a bit of researching on this and it says I require the 1.7 update to play most servers but I can't figure out how to update. I've watched some YouTube videos saying that I need to copy and paste the files but that hasn't worked for me either. Some of my friends said that they received the update as soon as they opened Six Launcher which I have not had yet.

I have downloaded the Worrom Update but it will not download the 1.7 update, it is just stuck on 0%

edit* Doesn't matter, I changed the download URL since the torrent doesn't work.

hmm. Most servers I am getting "retrying to authenticate".

why am I getting every possible error?!
