Error CA_Dubbing_Counterattack

Recommended Posts

Hello.

I installed Windows 8 64-bit few days ago and decided to reinstall ARMA II Combined Operations.

First problem that I encountered is that I cannot start "Combined Operations" anymore. Steam doesn't even report that I own Combined Operations! When I search for it on Steam, it says that I have to buy it, not play it -.-

I don't get this error on Arma II or Arma II Operation Arrowhead, I can just "Play" them.

I remember buying Combined Operations and not Arma II + Arma II Operation Arrowhead.

DayZ however works fine. But there is a problem that I want to solve.

Thing is, whenever I start Operation Arrowhead I get "Addon "dayz_anim" requires addon "ca_dubbing_counterattack"" error, but the game still starts. Then in main menu, I get "No entry "bin\config.bin/CfgVehicles/Citizen1.scope". error. I can still search for servers but if I try to join a server I usually get kicked because of "missing downloadable content" etc problem.

When I launch the game through DayZ Commander everything is working fine. But I don't like DayZ Commander and want to play through Steam.

I actually wondered the same thing the other day. Seems STEAM has fucked up in their " cleaning files " thing that they are doing. You won't be able to join any servers because you will be launching the game as OA not CO.

In DayZCommander, just click Settings and click " Launch DayZ Now" Then go about joining how you normally would. There are other ways, but this one seems to be the most convenient and doesn't involve editing CMD files.
