Signature Check timed out (random kick from server)

Hi all. Since about 1 week, I had this very frustrating problem of getting kicked from server after a few minutes to about half hour.

I only get "You been kicked from the server" message on my side but when I play with friends, the server chat command say I was kicked due to a Signature Check timeout.

This problem doesn't seem to occur on every server. Two servers that I always play on run Arma Version 1.62.98443. I do not get kicked from another server that run 1.62.97771.

I didn't came accross this problem on Namalsk so far, only on Chercno map.

Here what I try.

• Redownloaded / install BattleEye.
  
• Check file integrity with Steam of both games (1 file would always fail, not sure if its normal).
  
• Switch from Play with Six to DayzCommander (didnt work but man DayzCommander is much nicer then PlaywithSix lol).
  
• Downgrade my version of Arma 2 to match the server.
  

From what I read around, this issue occur in Arma2 also (not just DayZ). I will do more testing with server that run the latest version of Arma II (1.62.97771).

btw, I tried search this forum for this issue since I know its a known issue but couldnt find anything.

Happen to me on Namalsk also. Seems to be some server, not others. When I was trying to play on a server where I would get kicked normally, my friends saw a few people getting kicked from the same error as I. Right now, I am just trying to find pattern in the version of Arma II because it is either that or possibly some connection issue between me and some server.

I didn't find any solution but so far it seems to be related to the version of Arma II the server is running.

Server A with random kick: 1.62.98836 (support minimum version of 1.62.98220) (same issue on their cherno & namalsk server)

Server B with random kick : 1.62.98836 (support minimum version of 1.62.98809)

Server C without random kick : 1.62.98866 (support minimum version of 1.62.98866) (this is an Euro server, may explain the version that isn't avaible to my dayzcommander ?)

Server D without random kick : 1.62.98836 (support minimum version of 1.62.98836)

Curently, I run the latest Arma II version avaible to my dayz commander (1.62.98836). I've try reverting to the minimum version requirment to connect to the server I have issues on, without any success.

About update on a fix from this? I have a friend who is able to join this server: 184.173.146.62:2522

But he always gets kicked 5min or less on this server: 216.155.140.69:2303

Have no idea why, and he's tried everything like the OP said.

Since I stopped playing Namalsk, I noticed that no Chernarus-Server is

working for me. Getting constantly kicked all 2-20 minutes with a "signature Check timed out".

I tried all possible solutions I found on different forums and nothing worked.

Looks like I'm stranded like u guys :(

I was changing setting's in my router and decided to change my MTU that was setup for xbox live (so that it can have an open NAT) and put it to auto setting (which is 1500 at default) and managed to solve my signature check timed out.

Hopefully this helps out anyone with this solution.
