DayZ with Combined Operations DISCS

Hi so I have both Arma 2 and Arrowhead installed off of discs and have tried through 6launcher and dayz commander and when In go to join a server it says CA_PMC is missing and I have tried all the things I have seen on the forums so what I'm asking is;

What exact updates for Arma 2 and Arrowhead do I need?

The order in which to install them?

And then finally it would be great to have someone put a step by step?

and P.s the only reason I didnt get it on steam is because of Bandwidth restrictions, I am begging someone to help I want to play DayZ SOOOO bad.

You need the 1.60 and 1.62 patches installed.

You should also install the ACR DLC [Lite] if you decide to play Arma 2. [Not nesseary to play DayZ]

Note: DayZ uses assets from the PMC and BAF DLC, the patches only install the LITE versions which have lower res textures.

DayZ doesn't use any assets from the ACR DLC, so you don't need to buy it for higher textures unless you choose to use it in Arma 2.

You can buy the FULL versions of the DLC on Sprocket.... Bohemia's own Digital download site.

Intall order:

1) 1.60

2) 1.62

3) ACR Lite [You may skip this if you don't want to play Arma 2]

4) BETA Patch

5) Run/Configure DayZ Commander.

P.S. Steam doesn't play well with Arma 2 and mods, If you buy Digital versions of Arma 2 you should buy it on Sprocket.

You can login to Sprocket any time and download the files and retrieve your key, The files are also burnable on DVD

no silly download client needed.

Do I need to change anything else within the folders or overwrite the launch source on dayz commander

This works thanks a lot bro finally someone who knows how to fix this CA_PMC issue just so everyone is exactly clear if you have arma 2 and operation arrowhead on DISC this is a step by step guide to get DayZ working

1.install arma 2 and operation arrowhead off of your discs

2. Download and install patch 1.60

3.download and install patch 1.62

4. Download and install beta version

5. Download and install dayZ commander program

6.start up dayZ commander and go to the tab in top right corner that says install/update and anything that is out of date get it up to date , except for fulijah and all those other mods

7. Get killed by bandits within you first 2 hours of playing hahaha because you will now be playing DAYZ!!!!
