How to install Taviana (or any other custom map) and run it using DayZ Commander

Hey guys I just made a quick video showing how to install Taviana (or any other currently released custom map) and then run it easily using DayZ Commander.

Figured it might be helpful to some!

Hi Tadmaster thanks for the video mate, quick and simple =) but unfortunately i still cant get it to work =(. You said in the video you had a few problems getting the map to run, i was wondering if you came across the error message: "you cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.tavi, osshdy"

Did anyone else get this error?

Or more importantly anyone know a fix?

i can never get these custom maps/mods to work even with said Utube vids that claim easy walk throus..

OK so after some research it seems that either;

Load up the game without it installed first so it loads into memory then try it

or

make sure you have spelled it correctly

or

try redownloading and installing it.

If none of this helps post again here and i'll see what I can do!

Thanks for the reply, i manged to sort it out eventually, but an epic fail on my part. I spent quite a while re downloading and re installing the map many times over, then i look at the game directory file path and i have put C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\@Taviana so i change the file path to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\ @DayZTaviana And it works :D happy dayz

get the splash screen and full load bar.

then drop back to the launch screen. very breifly i see the you cant play this because of deleted content error.

All my pathnames and files are verified too so i am in the same boat here as Siberian.

Hi man thanks for putting this thread up. Itching to play this map, but getting bad connection message, loads the pic screen and then the message. Have tried renaming different variations and no joy. Am i supposed to have bisign files in the addons folder?

Ive downloaded with DZCMD and now its giving me "You were kicked: Script Restriction #115". Anyone konw whats going on?

Can anyone help me out with my error, i'm trying to join my LAN dayz server, which gave me error creating direct 3d 9 engine, so i had to install dayzbeta.cmd, which now launches the game i windowed mode, but every time i try to join i get, "you can not play/edit this mission, dependable on content that has been deleted, tavi, kh_dayztaviana, I'm not using the steam it's a version since my cd key was stolen, i got my OA from gamers gate.
