won't run

I cant get this game to install correctly for the life of me i have ARMA:CO and when i go to set the target with the -mod=@dayz it doesn't work i get a "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead\arma2OA.exe"-mod=@dayz specified in the target box is not valid. i used to have other mods installed and ran in the target directory just fine but this mod will not work for some reason.

just download six launcher, and run the game that way

tried it still wont work im going to try re downloading everything and reinstall to see i messed up somewhere

EDIT: when i tried running it through six launcher it would just instantly boot me from the game and say you were kicked from the server

did you buy the retail or the steam version of the game?

Remove -mod=@Dayz

Make sure your files are in C:\Program Files (x86)\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead\@DayZ\Addons

Go to this link, download the latest beta patch and download step 3.

Put the script .bat file into C:\Program Files (x86)\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead\ & launch it from that.

If you've got a steam version verify cache@ Library > Right click properties > local files > Verify cache on both games

did you start arma 2 first and goto the menu screen then log out then do the same for arma 2 operation arrowhead logging in upto the menu screen

then log out then install dayz in the addon. also did you update arma 2 beta patch
