Hacker doing the rounds

He was able to see peoples names whilst nametags were off was the give away, I have the server log as he goes around each player with the teleported heli pretending to help them then killing them:

Each one of these players died within moments after meeting Ghosthunter67. After disconnecting he joined DE 850 immediately and is on there currently. He obviously teleported the chopper from somewhere as I know a large group of Russian players frequent our server and had spent the last few days getting it and stashing it somewhere.

I _WISH_ I could use the tools these hackers have so I could record them doing it and get better proof. As well as seeing what they are doing and taking action before they upset players on the server. I gain great satisfaction from griefing griefers (i just made words up).

I can confirm what Loque said. I was just on DE 850 and 2 of my friends and me met Ghosthunter67.

His car just appeared out of no-where and when we opend fire he go out and was "killed" with the strang message, that it was "Friendly Fire". That's when he just reappeared some 50m away and opened fire. All 3 of us emptied an entire Stanag Magazin into him with no effect. Ultimately he then killed all of us and hid the bodies. Afterwards he teleported all 3 of us, after we had respawned, to the same location and teleported his car away again.

Start a new issue and add the details to the report, if enough reports are submitted then he will be Community Ban List banned and will be unable to play on all DayZ Anti Hax enabled servers. The more reports given the quicker this guys GUID will be banned.

Isnt it possible to tell he was hacking just from the logs though? (I have no clue about logs xD I just thought you could, and have heard admins saying it). If its not possible then that does suck if it means multiple reports from different people are needed its going to be MUCH harder to get rid of these James Blunts.

@DeathJester76: Thanks for the support, I'll get onto this, I had been looking at list (we update to it as much as possible) but wasn't sure on how to submit - will have another look and give it a go.

@Rooneye: Most of the script kiddies run a program (made by random developers... always good to trust!) that bypass Battle Eye (which catches them running the scripts) they get caught out every time an update comes out.

they use fake IP's you know this right. the only solution I see is to get a counter hack :rolleyes: :thumbsup: of course made by battle eye that works protecting the players like god mode so they dont get killed by a hack

Banning GUID (Game Unique ID) works really well and forces the user to buy a new CD key.

Looking forward to adding these guys to the community banlist.
