Can not repair vehicles after 1.7.3

Recommended Posts

As title states, I've had several vehicles now that in one way or another refuse to let me repair them (I have a toolbox). For example:

Bus - Allowed me to repair everything but the fuel lines, fuel lines weren't even shown on the menu.

Offroad - Two front wheels missing/damaged, LF/RF would not show up in the repair menu, only LB/RB.

Hello there.

Same problem here.

Date: 06. November 2012

Arma Beta Patch: 98443

DayZ: 1.7.3

Inventory: Wheel + Engine + Tool Box (all three for sure)

Vehicle#1: Tractor with nearly broken Engine (~85%) and Fuel Tank (70%)

Vehicle#2: Bus with two broken Wheels (both front)

Problem with vehicle#1:

It wont let me repair those Fuel Tank but not that broken Engine. Another tractor nearby also with a broken Engine don't have this problem at all.

The Engine just wont shown up within the repair menu.

Problem with vehicle#2:

I can select the right front wheel, but not the left one. So I give it a try and repaired the right one. Still not able to fix the left one within the repair menu,

Furhter Information:

Both vehicle were surely available in 1.7.2.6 and done the 'update'.

The second tractor i wrote about seems to be a fresh spawned one.

Greetz,

I had a similar problem, but I'm not sure if it's the same as yours. When I tried to repair it wouldn't come up in the menu, however when I hopped in and out the menu appeared for a second. I just moved around the vehicle and found the right spot to repair it. This may or may not be the same problem as you, but meh, it's worth a shot.

Might be, but I hopped in, moved it, jumped out, ran around, ducked, crawled... basically any manipulation of the vehicle possible to try to get the options to appear on the menu, no luck.
