Changing Server Location

Hi fellow admin's

Does anyone know what needs to be done here?

I have moved from a UK based server to a US-Based server in phoenix Arizona.

It is with the same host and equipment. (server hardware)

IP change = 85.234.146.76 port 2302 change to 198.15.113.90 port 2412

Other than UK to US and the ip's all the rest of the info is the same.

Do I need to cancel the old and resubmit or can a support notice do?

Anyone know?

Because I by-passed the host (xstreamgaming) the first time, I got UK 463 however it took 25 days to get my numbers. I did not know the host could/would do that for a hosted server.

I guess I might try that also - thanks

If I understand correctly now your referring to the mission id? In that case yes you will need to get a new one that matches your new ip/location. You can do that your self or have your host do it.

Yes that is what I meant.

I figured with the UK to US change and one ip to another ip, I would have to cancel one and resubmit.

I just didn't wanta have to wait the 25 days like last time.

Why don't you ask your host to do this for you? Often times the hoster can get things done a bit faster.

It is incredibly unlikely that you will get someone to change an official instance's whitelisted IP, official dayz hive support has been nonresponsive for over a month and they aren't approving new ID's

This don't sound right??

I started (rented) my UK based server in sept, put in for a ID on oct 1 - support listed me as UK 463 on oct 26th??

I have did this on my own not thru the host, my new support ticket for the change is already being worked on as I see it on my 'dayzmod.com' server list - I'll post when new US XXXX number is listed in my server section.
