Can this spec run Arma2:OA/DayZ?

My other computer broke down so I'm using a motherboard/processor from 2006 and my graphics card was wondering if i would run smoothly or choppy, if so what settings would be optimal.

Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 1.86GHz overclocked to roughly 2.5GHz

XFX Radeon HD 6870

4GB DDR2 RAM

My new spec will be

Asus Z77 Sabertooth

Intel i5 3570K

XFX Radeon HD 6870

8GB DDR3 RAM

it should run smoothly with that (getting new graphics card later) but wondering if the spec I'm using atm is viable.

Your current specs will 'run' the game, but not smoothly at all. You'll get on much better with the i5 3570K.
