Wisebeard91 3 Posted November 5, 2012 (edited) Ok so This wont be a long post but if people like it please show your support/ideas.The game already allows players to fall unconscious so why not make use of that and implement non-lethal weapons and tactics.Cable ties - Ties an player up. (possibly for X amount of time before they break free or knife used to free them)Knockout Hit - Non lethal melee attack that makes them unconscious. (Can then be tied up)Rubber Bullets - Non lethal ammo and guns.Pepper spray - Short range stream that blinds playersTazer - awwwww yeahhhhhhSometimes you dont want to kill someone but would rather not take the chance that they wont kill you... When you just dont want to risk being killed by a trigger happy idiot you can just put his lights out, cable tie him and keep going your own way. I think in real life they are used as sort of discouragement because they hurt like shit but in the game you don't really feel pain so that wouldn't ork like that. People would still be coming at you when you fire at them with these bullets. Pretend for a moment your a survivor and not a bandit and you wish to keep your humanity. You hear someone in the room next to you. Rather then yelling out and risking a firefight with a jumpy bandit you are lucky enough to have some heavy rubber rounds on you. You poke your head around the corner and see him looting something and pop a rubber one in his head...hes out cold. Now you could use a cable tie to secure him, kill him, rob him blind or just go on your merry way and by the time he wakes up you will be long gone and with your humanity intact. Mini Maracas 37 Posted November 5, 2012 I think there should be a tranquilizer gun and a tranquilizer rifle. The 'gun' is just a pistol, shorter range, 3 or 4 bullets before a reload, and a faster reload, and the rifle should be a sniper, 1 bullet reload, slower reload times, and a longer range :) That way, you could find an enemy, scope in, shoot him, walk up to his unconscious body, loot his stuff and run, without getting any murders :DThe rifle would have to knock them out for longer, as you'd most probably be further away when you shoot them. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
