I have just bought arma 2: OA on steam and went i try to run it I get this error "no entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgInGameUI/MPTable.shadow'." Then i click ok it tries to load the game then stops and says Error compiling pixel shader PSspecularAlpha:0

if you have any ideas plz let me know

Run steam as admin.

That fixed it for me and my friend.

What fixed it for me was going to steam->library-> arma 2/properties-> local files-> verify

do that for AO as well and that should solve your problem

Same exact problem, I ran steam as admin and I did the verify files and it even said some where missing.

I've done the same, it hasn't worked for me either! We need a solution ASAP. I'm getting the shakes because I haven't played for so long. (Not really)
