Get servers to report correct in-game time

Recommended Posts

Please get the servers to report the correct in-game time so it is possible to know this BEFORE logging on. (In-game, just keep the current need for a watch).

DayZ Commander shows server time, but it is notoriously unreliable.

Cannot the server side software transmit this to our end?

A lot of servers don't even show the time when I look. I just assume 20 or more people = daytime.

The time in-game isn't synchronous between players either. Some people might be running around in pitch darkness, while others are in "late-evening" light.

Probably to do with the fact ArmA 2 wasn't designed to be a persistent world for days/weeks at a time.

Something else that will most likely be fixed when DayZ is on it's own engine, with the new client-server architecture.

I'm not entirely sure what that means, I don't MMO often. But I'm assured it's better for us gameplay wise.
