Is anyone else have issues with loading a DayZ server?

I'm in Australia, trying to join Australian Servers but have waited 2 hours to load the game before I gave up.

Can anyone help me on this?

I too had this problem, albeit I am an NZ player. Aus and NZ share servers anyway.

The solution I found was to roll back to Day Z version 1.601, and play on 1.601 servers. All the ON3 Network servers in NZ still use 1.601, and I was able to join and play without the "infinite loading screen" problem.

To roll back to 1.601, go here: http://cdn.armafiles.info/old/

Download "dayz_code_v1.6.0.1.rar", extract it, and then replace the old day z code file in your Operation Arrowhead folder. That's it.

I would try 1.7 Beta servers, the loading times dropped drastically for me once I went to the Beta servers.

Edit: Another thing to keep in mind, is once 1.7.1 patch releases, everyone will have to have the Beta patch installed to play.
