!HELP! My friend and i can't play dayz together

I have been playing dayz for a while now and i wanted to play it with my friend so he got a cracked version but we couldn't play together cause we were using the same game from steam. About a month later he got the full version and we wanted to play together but it still doesn't work. When we play together one of us gets a message saying " bad version, connection rejected " and if he logs in while i'm not playing he logs in as my character. If i log in when he's not playing a log in to my character. So i think we are somehow bonded or something.... Please Help!

Yea I got the same like this and that got me a global battleeye ban cause the guy using my account was a hacker.. -__-

easy stuff...his cd key in registry isn't updating

try having him open steam as admin, and logging into his account and then running arma2, then arma2 OA, and possibly arma2 CO, if that doesn't work he'll need to delete them then reinstall it all

its fixed, he made a new profile and we can play together now
