Hack on US 303

Server: US 303 Dallas

Date: 11/02/2012 - Nov, 2nd

Time: 00:32 (GMT -3), but i'm in "Summer Time" (DST) which means that my actual timezone is (GMT -2)

What happened: I was swimming from Chopper Island (Drakon) to the main island when I was teleported to some castle (I think). There I saw 2 players (Loganater and some friend of him), a box (I think it's a weapon box) and a SVU (http://www.base-net...._CIV_EP1_en.jpg). In middle of my freaking despair, I enter in the SVU and tried escape, but I was killed.

Little explain about the SS: When I was teleported, Loganater was talking with his friend and I was inside some construction. When I go out, he talked the first two lines of the SS. I don't understand why he talked "that's him" since I haven't anything unless the start items. So, I entered in the SVU and his friend shoot me with m107 and killed me (his friend is the man in the SS).

I don't see anything in particular regarding that specific problem, but as the first line of the server's Message of the Day says, for the last few weeks, a new crop of undetectable hacks have been wreaking havoc on the game in general. At the specific time you mention, the server was in the process of being attacked by one of these. I've been working with Dwarden and others in the official DayZ IRC channels to remedy the problem, and I believe I'm close to a solution as of about yesterday, but I haven't quite nailed it yet. I'm sorry, but hacking really sucks right now.

I banned Loganater and a bunch of others for some crazy item spam he did on 11-01 14:30-ish GMT+10.

Due to all the crazy hacking, I've been a little burnt out on adminning, so I haven't been reviewing the logs as frequently.

In the last couple hours, I finally discovered how to catch most of the new breed of hacks. His hacks weren't the otherwise undetectable kind, though.
