DayZ private server error when creating

Hello all!

I was attempting to set up dayz server on my dedicated box, and i have come across this error (see below). I've got everything set up as far as configs but it seems that it cannot connect to the SQL database on the localhost (although you can clearly see the startup script has started mysql, and i can use navicat to see the database).

Any quick ideas?

I'm sure it's something ive overlooked stupidly.
