Really loving the ambience of this new map, reminds me a lot of silent hill. I'm very happy with the outstanding quality of the user made maps for this mod. I hope that the standalone will support the new maps too.

I don't really mind if rocket refuses to support the majority of the community based maps because most do not fit right with dayz. (they are exceptional maps but not dayz material)

Namalsk on the other hand, is perfection and I pray that it is at the very least made compatible with the standalone.

i think it wud be pretty hypocritical for dayz not to let other user made maps have the benefits of the standalone too...

I totally said that is was Silent Hill like the very first time I played it. In pitch black. As a new spawn. With only a flashlight.

I think there will be remakes, and I certainly hope they'll be as good as the user-made maps. I doubt that user based maps would ever not be a feature too, as DayZ will be a very community-based game.

lol its a horse chestnut seed aka conker wearing a cheffs hat.

its from the game botanicula which is worth checking out just for the soundtrack
