Transferring to new computers?

Hi. I'm waiting for DayZ standalone to come out to buy it, but I'm getting a new computer around Christmas time. Would I be able to transfer DayZ to that new computer, even if I buy it on my laptop? The reason I'm asking this, is because my laptop doesn't have the BEST specs. I've heard it can run DayZ, but not smoothly on high settings.

Thanks if anyone can answer this :) Sorry if it's been covered before. I've searched a bit on the forums, but haven't found anything. :D

yes your charakter is bound to the cd key

and your cd key is bound to steam/or the actual boxed dvd^^

can you buy dayz standalone from steam?

This was another question I was going to ask. :)

How will DayZ Standalone be sold? Will it be buying from the website, will it have a hard copy, and will it be on steam? :)
