Hunger and thirst bars.

This is a simple thread, instead of having indicators that are green when you are full of water or food, and red/flashing when you are starving or really need water, there should be a bar. As it runs out the bar inside the box/rectangle gets shorter and when it reaches the end you will start loosing blood.

Why have this? Well hopefully in the standalone there are different types of food and drink, chips, chocolate bars, energy drinks perhaps? Well anyway the point is if they are added, not all of them are going to completely refill your appetite or quench your thirst. So depending on the meal or beverage it should only increase the bar to what it would in real life.

So a bag of chips would only add a little bit to your hunger bar, and a can of Pepsi won't completely quench your thirst.

What else would change? If people loot super markets and residential buildings they'll only take higher value food that will be more useful, and leave or drop behind low value foods or drinks over cans of beans or bottles of water.

Thus, making survival harder and a little bit more interesting.

As many of us have been told, I'll just say that most suggestions have been posted before. Do a site search before posting a topic next time. Also, you should perhaps wait until the standalone is out to suggest things, as no one is sure what is coming yet.

Yeah the standalone is not even out there so why suggestions?

let us leave the indicators, its way less uglier than the bar from that other zombie mmo.

Also, other type of food will be added, its just that hexagons were just very easy to do and then extrude. Some will even be able to get stale

1. so ask yourself, why have you come here?

2. this subforum was created for suggestions for the mod, and the devs are now using it to use the community for brainstorming ideas, and they are going to use some that were fabricated here. And despite not looking like they care about the mod anymore, they do its just that they are going to transform it in the SA into what we have been suggesting for a long time.
