Bekz 0 Posted May 7, 2012 I've been told this is abnormal -- to lose 6,000+ humanity on one survivor kill -- and am thus posting this in the bug reports forum board.----Date/Time: May 7th, 2012 -- Approx. 1:15 AM CSTWhat happened:Summary -- I killed a 'survivor' and ended up going from approx. +3,500 humanity to -3,167 (a loss of over 6,000 humanity). I was using the Winchester and the buckshot ammo (not slugs), I fired approx. 3 cartridges although I think he died after 2.Full Story --I was in a grocery store and heard someone enter, I asked him to identify himself as fof at least 8 times. No response. I then gave 4 warning shots and continued to ask him to identify. It seemed as though he still failed to notice not only chat but ALSO my warning shots that landed right near his feet. He continued to move closer to me and then when he appeared to have finally seen me proceeded to fire. I then prompty defended myself with 3 shots to his torso. Suffice to say I am now a bandit and am not very appreciative of getting 6,000+ humanity loss due to this retarded situation where I was not at fault. That said I do understand you do not control such in game situations although I figured if nothing else it would be wise to report the 6,000+ humanity loss over one survivor kill.Where you were: Grocery Store, Zelenogorsk. What you were doing: Looting the store and waiting for a friend. trauma.au 14 Posted May 7, 2012 Did you happen to put extra shots in just after he died? I've shot people in the head but due to lag I've put a bunch more into them. Each hit costs humanity on top of the kill cost.

grandmont@live.ca 1 Posted May 8, 2012 Their humanity is subtracted from your humanity. You killed a player who frequently helped others, healing them and whatnot, and their high humanity was subtracted from your average/low humanity.
