Extremely laggy - not playable

Recommended Posts

Hey, so I know a lot of people talk about this, yet I was not able to find a solution for my problem.

I started playing DayZ like 4 days ago. Everything went fine. I got like 40-50 fps. Yesterday I started playing and... wow... 5 fps. The game is not playable. I tried several servers and there was ONE (out of 25-30) on which I had the 40-50 fps. I put @DayZ on a virtual hard drive all by itself.. didn't work. My hardware should not be the problem since it worked fine for the first few days. Now how comes I can play the game perfectly fine at the beginning and then it just doesn't work anymore?

Thanks.

Just found out that if I choose a server with a lot of players (48/50 or 39/40) it works perfectly fine.

I have an idea of your problem.

You have too many junk on your computer.

I suggest you download Advanced System Care http://www.iobit.com/advancedsystemcareper.html

And Pirform Defraggler,http://www.piriform.com/defraggler ( note ) Don't defrag your own system, if you want to. I suggest just defraging the folder. ( press action and only do folder )

And 2nd, go to run or Window+R

and go to %temp% and delete every thing.
