Weather effects would be awesome.... nothing like a huge ass lightning storm pouring with rain at night whilst running from zombies.

Also you could refill water bottles/canteens.

And in hotter weather you dehdyrate faster.

And it could wash away blood + footprints. (This applies to my tracking post.)

There is weather, and you can refill water bottles at pumps/wells, and any pond or lake deep enough to swim in, as well as the ocean.

In an attempt to rectify this persons poorly written post:

I think he means add effects to the already existing weather, and I agree.

Rain could be used to refill bottles, e.g. when raining a refill bottle option appears on the wheel menu. In addition it should sap your stamina etc. to give players an incentive to get out of the rain!

I think in a game where simulation seems to be a high priority, weather HAS to have some sort of effect on gameplay.
