Haven't played for a few months.. any significant changes?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys

I have been away from Day Z for a few months and was surprised to see additional maps on Day Z Commander. Apart from these, has there been any great or significant changes?

For example....

I only experienced hackers on a few occasions, but what's it like now? I mainly use UK servers by the way.

AltF4. Still a problem? This was the main game killer for me.

Is it stil a PvP game? Not such a problem, but I'd like to see if the game has found it's true trajectory yet.

I saw 'private servers' were mentioned on another thread - I thought this was frowned upon?

Anything else?

The main DayZ servers, which all share the same hive, are form what I've seen ruined, its basicly Call of Duty in Elektro now, and hackers are stupidly common, when it happens, its a 'meehh' situation, and just learn to deal with it.

Thats why Private Hives are the way to go, less buggy, more updates, more in game material, no hackers, whitelisting servers are the best. Pretty much it really,

Standalone will be the best though, hopefully :)

Meanwhile, tons of mod of dayZ appears, and none is perfect. Some steal each other their code, some have great ideas, some have skills, some refuse to give the server_code and try to have a contract with a hoster to gain money ...

Sad as shit.

Get your ass on namalsk, I swear you want a refreshing scary as hell dayz experience get on that. I play exclusively on that map.

the map is still based on Dayz, and not a dayZmodification. Still have the same problems.
