Disappearing vehicles?

ok so in the past week i have lost an atv, bus, bike and stolen heli. i highly doubt they were stolen, maybe someone followed the heli but the bike and atv were perfectly hidden. Does the server restarting have anything to do with this or is this just the normal dayz glitch stuff.

You have to select the 'Save' option before a server restart or they will be wiped and respawned.
