Broken bone in Chernarus

Tomorrow is my one week anniversary with the broken bone icon showing. I have been crawling back and forth between a deer stand and a barn since that Z broke my leg. Unfortunately I have not found any morphine yet... Hopefully, tonight is the night when I get to run(!) around in Chernarus again.:rolleyes:

I was with a group of four when we went into Vyborr and we kicked off a massive zambie fight. By the end of it we were trying to retreat out of the cities but one of our members got hit by a zombie coming in from one of the buildings on the edge of town. Broke his legs and none of us had morphine on us for some stupid reason. Spent the next 15-30 minutes guarding him with the three remaining standing survivors shooting zambies while the fourth slowly crawled out of town.

I always keep two to four of all medical gear except Epi (2) and blood (1) so I don't have broken bones for long.

You don't need 10 mags you DO need more medical and food shit.

Seriously some people carry around ammo like they think they are going to get into a half hour fire fight and then don't have room for any other gear.

2xmorphine, 2x painkillers, 2xblood, 2xepi, 1xantibiotics, 4-6 mags is my usual setup. as soon as i use a medical supply i restock somewhere.

I V-stepped into a stairway's geometry last week and broke my leg. Weirdly enough I had no morphine (I always carry two, I honestly have no idea why, at that moment, there were none in my bag). I was in Bor, which is near three deer stands. So I crawled between the stands, killing all of the military zombies each time, for two days. No morphine. Finally, annoyed, I crawled the 4km or so to Cherno, to the hospital on the NW edge of town. I managed to kill someone outside the hospital with my MP5SD, then loot a box at the base of the ladder and get my morphine fix. All in all I probably spent 4 hours of in-game time crawling around with a broken leg. Maybe more.

That character is still alive to this day. :D

I never have to worry about stuff like this. I carry a medical arsenal - more than I will ever need. Four bandages, three morphine, two painkillers.

Being a Solo player so far, I haven't bothered with Blood Bags, but I always keep at least 2 Bandages, 1 Painkiller, and 1 Morphine on me. Loot spawns permitting anyway. I'll pickup all the Ammo I can find, but not at the expense of losing these Medical supplies, you'll die quickly otherwise.

no ofc i always carry at least 3 bandages, sometimes more, if i dont have that much sidearm ammo. M9SD mags are just to fucking rare! ;)

Ofc I should have carried atleast one morphine like I most of the time do but of some reason i didn't and have to suffer from that now. Don't trust anyone unknown to help me either, atleast not at this time. Logging in now *fingers crossed*:D

And I fell off a building and shoot morphine like it does something else, so I had none. Immediately got eaten shooting a hospital window in search for morphine.

Oh man I did this for a while. So bad. I managed to cover the upper portion of the map on my stomach. I even raided the northern airfield. The trick to getting up some stairs is to roll...although the others you'll have to stand up and fall onto.

We DID have a half our firefight with zambies. Was good times :P If we hadn't brought the ammo we had (ideally I'm thinking the leeroy enfield wasn't the best idea for our noob of the group) we would have ended up in the bellies of a hundred zambies.

I died once due to a broken bone and no morphine. I had 10 boxes of winnie shells clogging my inventory though. It occurred to me I was much more likely to get into a scuffle with a lone zed who broke one of my bones than to face a zed army that would require those 150 rounds. The lesson was learned. :)
