Editing server name.

So from what I see you have to edit server.cfg... I have found some dayz1.chernarus thing that looks exactly like server.cfg, but that won't do the trick. After about half an hour of looking, can't find that server.cfg or whatever it is, server is hosted by HFBServers. Submitted support ticket about 3 hours ago, still no reply so I figured i'd ask here.

we just purchased a server with HFB and are wondering the same, seems like a pain for a novice to set up. If only they had a guide to getting your server up and running on their website, would save so much trouble.

Yea, not very much information about setting up a server with HFB. I don't know what their support team is doing, been about 3-4 hours now.

From what I can see when you connect to it from ftp dayz_1.chernarus is exactly the same as cfgdayz, although it doesn't work.

It is very straight forward for both private and private plus servers remember server.cfg is an old term most of the larger hosts use config.cfg now

If you want to edit your server name you need to edit it in Server.cfg, its in cfgdefault

Both us and vilayer run things a bit different, The files are called config.cfg and they are not in cfgdefault.
