cocomut 1 Posted October 27, 2012 So from what I see you have to edit server.cfg... I have found some dayz1.chernarus thing that looks exactly like server.cfg, but that won't do the trick. After about half an hour of looking, can't find that server.cfg or whatever it is, server is hosted by HFBServers. Submitted support ticket about 3 hours ago, still no reply so I figured i'd ask here.
Rowebundy 0 Posted October 27, 2012 we just purchased a server with HFB and are wondering the same, seems like a pain for a novice to set up. If only they had a guide to getting your server up and running on their website, would save so much trouble.
cocomut 1 Posted October 27, 2012 Yea, not very much information about setting up a server with HFB. I don't know what their support team is doing, been about 3-4 hours now.

cocomut 1 Posted October 27, 2012 From what I can see when you connect to it from ftp dayz_1.chernarus is exactly the same as cfgdayz, although it doesn't work.
anthony_henson2003@yahoo.com 33 Posted October 27, 2012 It is very straight forward for both private and private plus servers remember server.cfg is an old term most of the larger hosts use config.cfg nowPrivate plushttp://gyazo.com/babf6abf0265c979e403c13d3e7be545Private http://gyazo.com/a17e6bbc5ef2b80df80d78c989677778
