K_Tetsu 2 Posted October 27, 2012 Hi I didnt play since 1.7.2.4 and had a fully equipped chara at the airfield now with 1.7.2.6 I joined a map and now I have to create a new Chara wtf? I remember when I first got DayZ, I joined a private hive and found a G17, then logged out for dinner. When I returned I joined another server, this time a regular Hive server. Damn I was annoyed that I lost my frist gun. :DOT:Try and join another server, and post if it's fixed or not. SquishyBear 31 Posted October 27, 2012 Pretty sure that the different server versions made you spawn back at the coast.There was an issue going from 1.7.5 to 1.7.6 where, if you changed from one server version to another server version, you'd start at the coast. Usually with all your stuff but not always.Or it could be private / regular hive as mentioned above.Or it could just be that you haven't played in forever. K_Tetsu 2 Posted October 29, 2012 (edited) Yep it was a private Hive Server and I got confused ^^"btw my chara died shortly after that because I was stolling around the Devils Castle dont go there , there is nothing usefull and you will probably die ^^]I dont think it was a good Idea to mix the official Hive with private ones now I have 3 chras one where Im lying on the beach dont know how long I stopped after 5 min because its a waste of time One male charckter with an axe and one fully equipped but dont remember from which private server they were. IMHO These new hive rules suck.I strongly sugest some warning similar to the "old version" warning for the Six lauchner! H2whoa 3 Posted October 31, 2012 similar thing happened to me but it wasn't a private hive..i had a AK and i was in cherno just looking for loot...for some reason game crashed then when i logged back in i had nothing not even a backpack and i was sniped instantly....i am in serious doubt in buying the standalone...
