SweetFX Shader Suite Bannable?

Recommended Posts

Well it's been hosted on Armaholic, therefore you'd think it's quite legit in the eyes of the Arma crowd: http://www.armaholic...=17837#comments beside's it's clientside - how on earth can the Dev's know you are using it? I use it, and don't think I could play without it.

Turning it off makes it look like I have very low blood.

I'll post a couple screenshots of the changes I have made, I'm still working on finding those "perfect settings" of course perfect for myself anyone else might see it and hate the look.

Here are a couple screenshots with sweetfx on and off. *Hint: the more vibrant richer looking Images are with sweetfx.

I have also played around with the settings to make the night HARDER to see and more accurate lack of colour/detail. It makes using chemlights/flares comparable to seeing fireworks for the first time.

It all depends on how you use it... I'm sure it could be a case where the few ruin it for the group by trying to tweak night vision but jacking up gamma and brightness already does that.

SweetFX works great to visually enhance the game beyond any normal means and settings and it does so with very little fps/performance hit.

It takes a fair bit of time tweaking the settings to get it to something you like but once you start to make those adjustments turning it on and off is a night and day difference.
